Paula and Michael were married on a gorgeous mid-August afternoon at NOAH's Event Venue in Morrisville, NC. Michael and Paula really loved the fact that you could customize the ceiling at this venue. It made them feel like they were really involved in the wedding planning and they were happy to tell people they choose the design. Paula wore a beautiful white lace gown with sparkly strappy heels on her feet. Her bridesmaids stood beside her in wine-colored gowns that flowed perfectly in the breeze. Michael looked dapper in his blue suit with a grey vest and wine tie that tied in with the bridesmaids gowns perfectly. The groomsmen were in grey suits which made the groom stand out even more. This is one of my wedding trends. Their ceremony was so special not only because of the beautiful vows that they wrote to each other, but also with Paula being in the Air Force having the Honor Guard meet them at the end of the aisle was an extra special moment for them. Michael was also able to have Daniel D, an amazing violinist play not once but twice during their ceremony.
During the wedding planning process Paula and Michael kept coming back to the adjective "Elegant" when describing how they wanted their wedding to feel. They eventually came up with "Classy, but noticeable" as to how they wanted their guests to feel. They decided to set the tables up in pods and rounds and use tall dramatic vases and candles to really set the mood. The non traditional table arrangement allowed for a larger dance floor which was also of great importance to Paula and Michael. Daniel D even stayed for the reception to play Eric Benet's "Spend my Life with You" for their first dance as well as some other songs throughout the reception to get the crowd moving. Between Daniel D and the amazing DJ-ing skills of Cease Fire Productions the dance floor was jam packed for the rest of the night. Cargo & Co. Events did an amazing job coordinating the entire affair and Creative Touch Events totally outdid themselves with the decor.
