Jane and Phillip were married on a gorgeous mid-October afternoon at Jane's grandparents home in Bullock, NC. Her Grandparents have a gorgeous old brick home on lots of open land. As you can expect for an October wedding here in North Carolina the weather was absolutely perfect. Jane wore a gorgeous white satin gown with a cathedral length veil and Phillip was the perfect complement in his formal black tux. Jane's bridesmaids wore mismatched black gowns. This is one of my absolute favorite trends that I have been seeing with weddings. This gives each lady in the bridal party the opportunity to get e dress that fits her own personal style and that she is comfortable in. Their ceremony was so special not only because it happened on the front lawn of Jane's Grandparent's home, but more so because her Grandfather was the one marrying her and Phillip. They gave their guests all cups of confetti to throw as they came back down the aisle after they said their "I do's" and since they had tons left over we decided to have some fun with it during the portrait session. We had the bridal party toss the confetti around Jane and Phillip and it was absolute magic as was the rest of their golden hour portrait session. The reception happened under a large tent with the band Bull City Syndicate keeping the dance floor jam packed for the rest of the night. Cindy Newton, a family friend, did any amazing job coordinating the entire affair and Brandi Botanical total outdid themselves with the decor.
