When a couple has us do their wedding film we ALWAYS have them come to our studio to see their film for the first time if at all possible. So many times if we send them a link to the film they will watch it on their phone or on the computer. We want them to remember the first time they saw their film and to really be able to experience it so we have them come by and make sure they see it on the big screen first. We also invite them to bring family and friends that they want to experience it with. It is always a good time.
After watching their film with Samantha, Rodney, Samantha's mother and granny I am CONVINCED that we need to install cameras in the studio to capture this moment on film. This may sound a bit sadistic but I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing the roller coaster of emotions that our films take our couples on. Sam and Rodney's film started off with a few laughs, but they came the tears for Samantha and lots of them. The vows that they wrote to one another were some of the best that we have witnessed yet. They were so heartfelt and so perfect for me to tell the story of their day. Insert a few anecdotes from their parents and maid of honor/best man speeches and OMG! I am seriously in love with how their story is told.
When I asked Samantha and Rodney how they will describe the feeling on their wedding day to the children one day, Rodney said "When I saw your mother at the other end of the aisle and every thought that i had, along with the stress that I was feeling it all went out the window, and I realized that there was nothing more beautiful in this world than her. Seeing her down the aisle was like seeing her for the first time, but 10x as much beauty." OMG! I hope you have some tissues ready cause that right there was NOTHING compared to what was said in this film.
