David and Ashley said their "I do"s at a gorgeous rustic outdoor wedding at the Carriage House in Chapel Hill, NC. The Carriage House is a great venue if you are looking for an outdoor wedding location. It has a separate ceremony location comeplete with wooden benches, a covered open barn area that is perfect for the reception complete with twinkle lights. THere are also hula hoops, a putting green, corn hole boards and a fire pit in front of a gorgeous pond that has the most amazing light as the sun goes down.
David & Ashley's entire day was filled with personalized touches that gave their day a rustic romantic feeling that was entirely their own. The tables at their reception were filled with mismatched china plates as well as gorgeous floral arrangements in wooden boxes that were all made by Ashley's dad. All the other handmade signs were done by their friends. It was so important to Ashley and David to have their family and friends so involved in all parts of their special day. The mismatched china plates were also used as an nontraditional but GORGEOUS seating chart. When we sat down and spoke with Ashley and David about their day we knew they were going to be a fun couple to work with because one of their must have shots was a drone shot of them walking back down the aisle after their ceremony. They gave everyone of their guests a ribbon wand with bells on it to wave as they were introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Powell for the first time. Bounce Party Band kept the party going all not not letting anyone sit down for even a minute. The music was just too good! Make sure you watch until the end because you know they loved that drone so much we brought it out again for the sparkler exit at the end of the night, but that isn't the only surprise we have for you.
