We met Rebakah and her mother at the Forever Bridal Wedding show just a few weeks ago. While her mother lives here in Raleigh and their wedding will be at the Preston Woodall House in Benson, Rebekah and Garrett live in Virginia while they are going to school. Anyone who is in school or who can remember what it was like knows that finding time to do anything but study is tough. We were lucky enough to find a time that worked for all of us and the result was some pretty amazing images.

We had to do their shoot early morning on Sunday because they had to get back to VA for work and as you can imagine an early morning in January was COLD, but it was ok. We used the cold to our advantage. The cold weather just gave Rebekah and Garrett all the more reason to cuddle and be cute!

Since when we started the shoot is was right after the sun came up we started our shoot off at the Boylan Bridge. The golden glow from the sun against the buildings in downtown Raleigh made for a stunning backdrop. So often we do session at sunset because who really wants to get up early enough to see the sunrise, but oh my was it worth it. Downtown Raleigh is a great place to have a portrait session. There are so many uniques places that is you have an eye out you can capture some truly great images.

After spending some time downtown we decide to head over to NC State's JC Raulston Arboretum. This is another one of my favorite places to shoot. Every time I go there I find a new spot that I had never been before. And with the changing seasons every couple of months it looks like a completely different park.

As part of their package they got an engagement Save the Date video that we shot during the engagement shoot. Press play to check it out. I love how fun and upbeat it is!!
